[b]I think it is imperative that this application allow for the creation of an importable schedule. [/b] This would allow the application to be used (and purchased) by companies and universities to disseminate schedules to members and students.

No one wants to go through and enter in each thing if it's a predetermined schedule without a perfect pattern. One person ought to be able to create a file which the others import which contains the standard information for scheduling.

[i]Outlook has this feature and it works great.[/i]

Some import functionaility has already been provided in Scrybe Beta Phase 1.
The complete import and export functionality will be introduced in Phase 3.
You can refer to the online help: http://iscrybe.com/organizer/26_1/help/12ImportingCalendars.htm

Just an other question. In the online help it says:
"Click Publish on the Details panel."
I don't have Publish anywhere. It did find out (by accident) that you can click somewhere below Repeat and than you get the import option.

Would it be possible for you to send us a screenshot for this. There is a Publish tab right underneath the Repeat one on the Details panel.

Thanks,
Sabika

Today I saw scrybe for the first time in windows and I now know what the problem is. In linux (using flash 9 beta) you can not see the second row of tabs. I discovered that they are there, because I can scroll down using my scroll wheel, to reveal them.
There is another difference. In linux there is no ~ (well the double version of that) in front of repeating items. There is an empty space.

These things are both probably related to different fonts. I guess in linux the font for the tabs on the details panel is slightly bigger and apparently there is no ~ in the character set.

A snapshot where I high lighted these issues can be found [url=http://www.astro.rug.nl/~loenen/snapshot1.png]here[/url].
(too big to include)

Apart from these minor issues scrybe seems to be working really well in this beta version of flash. Great app![/url]

edit: why can't I get BBCode to work?

E,

Thanks for the screenshot.
Flash 9 for Linux is now out of Beta: http://www.downloadsquad.com/2007/01/17/flash-player-9-for-linux-final-released/

Would it be possible for you to verify if the results are same with the released flash player?

Thanks,
Sabika

It is installed, but it seems flash keeps using some other font.
I tried changing my systems default font to verdana, I also manually forced firefox to use it for all sans-serif fonts, but that both didn't do anything.
