Just wondering why Scrybe would send out a new round of beta invites (which I received on 8.16.07) with the following statement? "Also, please note that the beta has been divided in to 3 phases and you are receiving this invitation to test out functionality in the first phase of the beta."
I hate to sound like a broken record here, but this is pretty shabby stuff. I mean really, it's obvious that no one at Scrybe even looked at the information that goes out in the invites. You'd think they'd want to make a good impression with the first communication that users receive, rather they just added the new emails and away they go. This application may have some sort of future, but it's this kind of lack of professionalism that keeps my confidence low.
This beta invite issue was also posted in this thread:

Hi Moviegoer--
You are right and thank you for bringing this to our attention. This is now fixed in all outgoing emails, as well as in the Beta Testing Guidelines available at http://iscrybe.com/main/faq.html
These guidelines are updated to include current functionality so do have a look.
Please do keep sending in your feedback.
Thank you,

Hi Saj,
Thanks for responding. I'm glad that these kinds of things are getting addressed (or at least I hope they are). Scrybe definitely needs to step it up in the communications arena if it hopes to be seen as a viable and professional application. That being said, I'm still a fan of the app and hope this new energy and financing will show up across the board in Scybe's efforts. |
