If my laptop goes to sleep, I get a number of weird behaviors when it wakes up and tries to reconnect.

1. The "Your network connect or the server is not responding as expected at the moment" error. I get this pretty much every time, even if my network connection is fine. I can click the "Refresh" button, but it frequently doesn't work or seem to do anything.

2. I sometimes get a funky, "E-mail User Undefined" error. I don't remember the exact text and can't reproduce it right now, but will add the text to this post next time I see it.

3. UPDATE: Here's the text "256: EmailSystem:user_undefined:::" That message pops up at odd times, along with a "You may be able to continue"/Refresh warning, which does not work.

Once I have the 256 error, I can not refresh and reconnect no matter what I try or how long I wait. The only solution is to return to "iscrybe.com" and re-login (which is thankfully very quick and easy... I just make the menu bar appear and erase everything after iscrybe.com and hit enter).

4. Upon reconnecting after any of these sort of problems, tasks that were formerly dismissed or snoozed will crop up again, even though I did sync before losing the connection.

You receive this error when you login in to your online Scrybe from multiple machines.

You cannot login to your online Scrybe account from multiple machines. We will reword the error message.

Thanks,

Interesting... but I am not logged in to multiple machines at the same time... my home machine is asleep when I am at work, and I quit the browser before putting it to sleep...

When you close your laptop and then open it again, your session with Scrybe is destroyed and therefore you are required to sign in again.

In windows there are 3 options in laptops when we close the lid.
- hibernate
- standby
- do nothing

Your session will not be destroyed if your selected option is "do nothing".

Another suggestion would be to use the application in offline mode which will not destroy your sessions when your laptop is put to sleep.

Hope this helps.

That makes sense.

I guess the best solution is what you said-- a reworded error message,
and maybe add a button to take me out and re-login, instead of refreshing (as refreshing doesn't work).

Tricky stuff.

Interesting. I have the same problem...I tend to hibernate my work computer at the end of the day, and it's a bit tedious to have to remember to log out of Scrybe before I shut down...just as tedious as having to re-log-in the next day.

Seems like working offline doesn't work so well either, because then my browser (Firefox) doesn't let me have any internet access, to my gmail accounts or anything.

Am I missing something?
