| Yes, I agree with you. I also have a TX and it would be a great feature. |

| Palm Desktop is a very robust personal information manager for Palm users with its own file system. It supports importation of data from several other PIMs, including Outlook. Perhaps we should look into adding native file support for Palm database files to Scrybe. This will allow for migration of calendar and contact files between Scrybe and Palm handhelds via Palm Desktop and hotsync. Of course, we could simply convert the Palm files into a format that Scrybe can read, then import them into Scrybe, and vice versa, but direct support would reduce the number of steps required to migrate files between the two systems. In a similar vein, we should look into migration of contact and calendar information for Windows Mobile-based handhelds and smartphones as well. |

| For me, the ability to sync to my Palm is critical. I have my Palm with me at all times, even when I don't have access to either of my PCs. |

I definitely agree with everyone else that Palm sync capabilities is crucial! That would definitely solidify the chances of me adopting Scrybe when it becomes production.
Currently I use Agendus for both Palm and the Desktop. It's a very solid application and the best that I've seen so far. That said, it also has it's share of issues and I'm always open to trying new products and new approaches to dealing with my PIM data.
So far I think Scrybe has great potential! |

| I would also like to be able to sync with my treo 650. I currently use Daylite3 PIM on my mac and sync with agendus on my palm. The main problem I have is that my company uses PC's so unless I bring in my laptop everyday, I have no way of getting a visual outlook of who I should be contacting or following up on. |

| I have been a long time fan of Palm, as well. I would love to be able to synch my Palm and Scrybe. |

| Just adding my request for a palm sync conduit to this thread - if added it would be one of the few online apps offering this capability (currently airset.com does) and in my mind would solidify the usability factor of scrybe. |

Currently, yahoo sync is able to sync with palm desktop. Perhaps something along the line would be possible with scrybe?
And what about accessing your calendar from the internet using palm OS? does that work? |

| Currently I use iCal and google calendar. I can subscribe to the google calendar through iCal. All of this syncs with my Treo. The downside- The google calendar is read-only in iCal and I can't access google calendar offline. If scrybe would create a free flow of info between the laptop, online calendar and my Treo I'd be sold. |

This will be an exciting add because right now, I'm on two calendars and it's a nuisance! I love my Zire, but am becoming addicted to Scrybe...hope this sync deal happens soon! |

Me too - have just got scrybe on hold as I use my PDA all the time, mostly offline. Waiting for magic day when I can synchronise with everything without getting every entry duplicated.

I've been a DEDICATED Palm / Outlook user for some years now. I have always wanted Palm syncing with any PIM I use. But lately I've discovered the joys of PaperSync. The folds are so elegant. I just write what I need and input the info either offline or online when I get a chance. Inputting later serves as a good review of the day's events.
I still carry the Palm with me - it works for looking up contacts!!

Looks like it has been a while since this thread was updated.
I am a long time Palm/Palm Desktop/Agendus user and being able to sync with my Palm Centro smartphone is a CRUCIAL component to any online scheduling system.
Companionlink can do the job but it is not very intuitive.
GooSync is more simple and intuitive, but not feature-rich at all unless you want to pay an (excessive IMHO) monthly fee.
Scrybe could garner some significant marketshare if they would work on some intuitive sync'ing not only with Palm OS, but also Windows Mobile, Blackberry, and iPhone.
That all being said, how much longer are we going to stay in the dark about the POSSIBILITIES of these syn'ing options? |
