Hi there,
I love scrybe, but I have been having a serious issue lately. I took my laptop to school and switched to offline mode. I took some class notes in the the thought pad and when I got to a connected area I turned off offline mode...just like I am supposed to. The problem is, it tries to sync the changes and can't. It says it can't connect to the server. Here is the exact message:

Your network connection or the server is not responding as expected at the moment
You may be able to continue in a few moments if network communication improves
Otherwise you need to refresh the application.
Recent changes might have been lost

I refesh the application, it tries to sync again, can't, and gives me the error message. This is very frustrating. I can't keep taking all my notes in offline mode! I need to be able to access my calendar also. My username is "samguzman" Thanks.
Sam G.

Also, I should mention I am running windows vista and I tried it in opera, firefox, and IE. At first I thought it was my browser but it wasn't. I also uninstalled and reinstalled flash. That didn't work either.

Can you please create a zip file of the folder on the following path.

C:\Documents and Settings\[USER NAME]\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\TRVHMBXP\iscrybe.com\organizer.

Please email this at feedback[at]iscrybe[dot]com.

Thanks,
Sabika

Because I am using windows vista, the documents and settings folder no longer exists. I entered the C:\ProgramData folder, but there were no Macromedia files there. Any ideas?

Never mind, I found the files. Vista sure makes it hard. The email is sent as well.

I am ready to switch to Jotlet...I really need to access my calendar Sad I love Scrybe's features, but if it won't work for me I will have to look elsewhere. Is a fix coming soon?

Sam,
The next build will contain a fix for this.

For now, to make things work again, please remove the offline files from the location you found them at.

Until the next update (intended for next week) please avoid using the ThoughtPad in offline mode.

Ok. I removed the data, but is there anyway that you can sync that data for me? I kind of need the notes I took in offline mode...

Um, there is something weird going on with the thought pad. My notes have been duplicated in the pad, but when I delete one of the duplicates, it deletes both notes. This is very frustrating because I have lost several thoughts this way. I didn't realize it deleted both notes until I logged back in.

We are investigating this issue.

Can you please tell us if all your notes have duplicate entries or just the ones created in the offline mode.

This is all my notes. Its still happening. I haven't used offline mode because I don't want to risk losing more material.

Sam,

Please check your account to see if the problem persists.
Things to avoid until the next build update with the bug fix is to not edit any note in offline mode. Also, if your data does not sync once, please do not try to sync it again, instead just send us the LSO and delete the files and go online.

Hope this helps.

Are you unable to not connect to the server after working offline?
What message do you receive?
Can you please send us a screenshot at feedback[at]iscrybe[dot]com

Hi

I have had the same problem as samguzman the last week or so, but now I removed the offline files and it works again... Or actually there are still problems with the ThoughtPad. Every time I sign in, two labels are being regenerated and appears with no content?

I have the same problem as everyone else.
I guess playing with the thoughtpad in offline modus is the issue here.
when can we expect an update on this area?

Scrybe is going to be great!
